The Birthday Bash took place in the State Rooms at Speakers House, with kind permission of the Speaker of the House of Commons, Rt Hon John Bercow MP.
He welcomed the trust, with Maggie Darling as the chair, and praised the work as a key mover in ensuring the government have current research and information to support policy.
Our partnership was delighted to invite parents and children from Granard Children’s Centre in Wandsworth to the party. The parents’ forum and the outreach work are a real success story at the centre. They are fundamental to the ongoing development and take an active part in decisions and activities.
As a director and trustee of Daycare Trust, it is excellent to have arrived at 25 years of campaigning for quality and accessible childcare. Daycare Trust was at the forefront of the Sure Start programme and continues to campaign for the role of childcare and early years education.
